ByteDance Debuts AI-Enhanced Ola Friend Earbuds in China

The new earbuds integrate ByteDance's popular AI chatbot, Doubao, offering a hands-free experience for various activities.

ByteDance, owner of TikTok, has launched its first pair of earbuds called Ola Friend, available exclusively in China.
The earbuds feature an open-ear design and integrate with ByteDance's generative AI assistant, Doubao, which can be activated via voice command.
Priced at ¥1,199 CNY ($170 USD), the Ola Friend earbuds are available for pre-order and will ship on October 17.
The earbuds come in four colors: purple, silver, black, and white, and are designed to assist users while traveling, practicing English, and more.
Doubao, ByteDance's AI service, is highly popular in China, boasting over 47 million monthly active users as of September.
