BYD Tops 100,000 Vehicle Sales in Brazil in 2025 as Dolphin Mini Drives EV Surge

  • The brand captured about 73% of Brazil’s pure-electric market in 2025, far ahead of Volvo at 7% and GWM at 4%, with the Dolphin Mini leading volumes.
  • Local scale-up included 10,000 vehicles produced at the Camaçari (BA) plant and SKD assembly of the Dolphin Mini in Bahia to expand availability and cut costs.
  • Top 2025 sellers were the Dolphin Mini (~31,415), Song Pro (~19,579), Song Plus (~14,697), King (~11,510) and Dolphin GS (~10,444), as BYD expanded its network past 200 stores and targets 250 soon.
