Bybit Adds 1,000+ U.S. Stocks and ETFs to Platform

The exchange is offering custody-backed ownership settled in USDC through regulated partners to bridge crypto and traditional trading.

Overview

  • Bybit launched the new stocks product on Monday, October 12, 2026, allowing eligible, KYC-verified users to buy more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs from their Bybit accounts.
  • Orders are routed through Infra Capital Limited as the introducing broker and executed, cleared and held in custody by Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member.
  • Trades settle in the USDC stablecoin, support fractional shares, run 24/5 including U.S. pre-market and after-hours sessions, and carry zero commissions on eligible trades.
  • The service gives customers an economic interest in underlying securities, handles corporate actions with cash dividends converted into USDC, and plans to add shareholder voting rights in a later phase.
  • The launch follows a wider industry shift to merge crypto platforms with TradFi offerings and raises practical and regulatory questions about stablecoin settlement, jurisdictional limits and initial corporate-action restrictions.
