A bus crash killed El Bayadh reserve goalkeeper Zakaria Bouziani and assistant coach Khalid Muftah.
The accident occurred in the town of Sougueur in northwestern Algeria while the team was en route to Tizi Ouzou for a league game.
The Algerian Football Federation has postponed all football activities scheduled for the end of this week across the entire country.
Other injured team members are reportedly in stable condition.
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressed 'great pain and sorrow' over the incident and offered his condolences to the families of the victims.
