Overview
- Officers pulled over a cargo van Wednesday night for driving left of center with obstructed license plates, according to Yerington police.
- A K-9 conducted an open-air sniff around the vehicle and gave a positive alert for narcotics, prompting a probable-cause search.
- Police reported seizing 104 grams of crack cocaine, 6.1 grams of methamphetamine, 9.0 grams of MDMA, 9.9 grams of DMT, 3.4 grams of 2CB, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD tabs and multiple vape pens suspected of containing 2CB.
- Officers also recovered gram scales, packaging materials and prescription medications including Oxycodone, Vicodin, Valium and Xanax.
- The 48-year-old driver told officers he was headed to Black Rock City for Burning Man and is being held at Lyon County Jail on $248,000 bail after booking on multiple drug charges.
