Dean Burmester won the Joburg Open by three strokes, marking his third European tour title and his first in 2 1/2 years.
Burmester's victory came after a final-round meltdown by overnight leader Thriston Lawrence, who finished in a tie for seventh place.
Darren Fichardt finished second, two strokes ahead of defending champion Dan Bradbury, who took third place.
The top three finishers, Burmester, Fichardt, and Bradbury, all qualified for The Open at Royal Troon in July.
The Joburg Open marks the start of the 2024 European tour season, with three straight tournaments taking place in South Africa, co-sanctioned with the country’s Sunshine Tour.
