Burglar Arrested in Colorado After Using Uber as Getaway Vehicle

Jose, a 26-year-old man, was arrested in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, after allegedly stealing over $8,600 worth of electric tools from a local plumbing store.
He attempted to use an Uber as a getaway vehicle, but was apprehended by police who were alerted by the store owner.
The store owner had noticed a hole in the property's fencing and had surveillance footage of the suspect stealing tools.
Upon arrival, police found an Uber driver waiting nearby, who informed them that his passenger, Jose, was headed towards the vehicle.
Jose was booked on several charges, including theft of more than $2,000, criminal trespassing, and false reporting to authorities.
