The donations, which started pouring in late Sunday, have surpassed $270,000, marking the largest amount ever received by the Ten Lives Club.
TV cook Rachael Ray and her pet food brand Nutrish together donated $30,000 to the cause.
The funds will be used to provide food, medical services, and other necessities for the cats in the shelter.
