Overview
- The city published a full program for the 'Noche del Obelisco' running from 19:00 to 02:00 on Saturday, May 23, with organizers saying the celebration will move to Sunday if it rains.
- A 3D mapping projection using historical images from the Museo de la Ciudad will transform the Obelisco into a visual canvas paired with a staged music lineup that includes Orquesta Mahler, 'Por siempre Astor', Joaco Burgos and No NaMe Djs.
- Free guided visits will depart at 15:00 and 18:00 with prior registration required, each visit ending with a raffle of Mirador Obelisco tickets and winners able to ascend under scheduled times or later with vouchers.
- The Mirador Obelisco, open since 2025, offers a glass-elevator ascent to a dome view but is not wheelchair accessible and lists resident fares at AR$18,000 general and AR$14,500 reduced, and non-resident fares at AR$36,000 general and AR$29,000 for children.
- The program expands Corrientes 24 h with restaurants, bars and theaters open until 02:00, reinforced public transport and a security plan to handle larger crowds and promote nighttime economic activity.
