- Carlos Gardel on Line B will shut from Monday, August 25, for roughly two months to modernize infrastructure under the city’s station upgrade program.
- Works include waterproofing with injection and joint treatment, full floor replacement, new LED lighting, refreshed signage, braille indicators on handrails and portals, and new platform furniture.
- Interventions will cover entrances, stair galleries, concourses and platforms to improve passenger circulation, comfort and brightness.
- Ten murals in concourses and on platforms will be restored by professional conservators to protect the station’s heritage.
- Plaza Italia on Line D remains closed for remodeling as the plan advances, following upgrades already completed at eleven stations and thirteen Premetro stops, with additional works and tenders moving forward.
