Buenos Aires Sets Noche de los Museos for Saturday With Free Transit and 300+ Venues

A special mobility plan removes most travel costs through a downloadable Pase Libre and extended, no‑fare subway service.

Overview

  • The 21st edition runs Saturday, November 8, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., opening more than 300 museums, cultural centers and science sites with free entry across the city.
  • All subway lines will be free from 7 p.m.; Lines B and D add late service with selected stations open until 2 a.m., as listed by the city.
  • Buses will be free from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. upon showing the Pase Libre, which can be downloaded via Boti on WhatsApp or the event’s official website.
  • Ecobicis will permit up to four 45‑minute rides at no cost, and an eBus will link Usina del Arte and Retiro roughly every 15 minutes.
  • Programming places a strong emphasis on science and technology, featuring robotics, astronomy observations, virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence and interactive labs.
