Overview

  • No rain is forecast for the City of Buenos Aires and the broader AMBA on Saturday and Sunday, according to the national weather service.
  • Temperatures in AMBA are expected near 8–10°C in the morning and about 15°C in the afternoon on Saturday, then around 5–6°C at daybreak Sunday with highs reaching 16–17°C.
  • Persistent west to northwest winds are forecast, with probable gusts around 50–70 km/h over parts of La Pampa and Buenos Aires that will cap the daytime warmup.
  • A yellow alert is in effect for strong storms in Corrientes and Misiones, with possible hail, brief heavy downpours, lightning and localized rainfall totals of 15–40 mm.
  • Cordillera sectors of Patagonia face hazardous conditions with important rain and snow plus strong winds, and high-elevation gusts may exceed 100 km/h in some areas.
