Overview
- Trenes Argentinos will fully suspend Retiro–Tigre from Oct. 10 to 13 for concentrated works at Núñez and Beccar, with normal timetables expected to return on Oct. 14.
- The José León Suárez and Bartolomé Mitre branches will operate only between their outer terminals and Belgrano R during the same period, without service to Retiro.
- On the Roca line, Plaza Constitución–La Plata trains will run only to Villa Elisa on Oct. 10–11, and early on Oct. 12 several branches will face interruptions during an overnight power cut.
- Works include track removal and new installation at Núñez, third‑rail replacement at Beccar, fiber‑optic deployment, and migration to a newer signaling system near Retiro.
- These interventions sit within a 24‑month Emergencia Ferroviaria plan targeting roughly 40 km of track renewal and 47 km of third‑rail replacement, with another Mitre shutdown scheduled for Nov. 21–24 and timing subject to weather.
