  • The provincial midterms on Sunday will renew 46 deputies and 23 senators, alongside municipal councilors and school board posts, with the main slates for key regions now published.
  • The First Electoral Section, now the largest with 4,732,831 voters across 24 Greater Buenos Aires districts, will fill eight Senate seats, and polls signal a head‑to‑head between Fuerza Patria and La Libertad Avanza.
  • In the Fourth Section, which spans 19 municipalities and more than 520,000 electors, seven Senate seats are at stake with Andrea Passerini (Unión por la Patria), Gonzalo Cabezas (La Libertad Avanza) and Pablo Petrecca (Somos Buenos Aires) leading the principal tickets.
  • More than 13 million residents are eligible to vote, with compulsory turnout for citizens aged 18 to 70 under Law 5.109 and penalties for non‑voters that include fines of ARS 1,000–2,000 and administrative restrictions.
