Overview
- Daylong programming began at 10:00 in Plaza de Mayo, with the unified march setting off at 16:00 along Avenida de Mayo toward Congress and a closing program from 18:00.
- City authorities imposed traffic restrictions from 06:00 Saturday to 04:00 Sunday across Balvanera, Montserrat and San Nicolás, including a core zone bounded by Corrientes, Belgrano, Leandro N. Alem and Sarandí.
- The central slogan is “Frente al odio y la violencia, más orgullo y unidad,” with demands that include rejecting DNU 61 and 62/25, securing access to hormones and puberty blockers for trans adolescents, and reparations for older travesti/trans people.
- More than 60 social and human-rights organizations joined the mobilization, as volunteers trained by CEPA and ARDA staffed safety, hydration points and portable toilets at key sites along the route.
- Cultural activities included the Paseo de la Diversidad on Diagonal Norte, a homage to Diana Sacayán, and performances by artists such as Ángela Torres, Massacre, Benito Cerati, Alan Lez and Sudor Marika.
