Buenos Aires Opens Public Consultation on Merger of Bus Lines 90 and 151

City residents have 15 days to provide feedback on the absorption of line 90 into rebranded branches of line 151 ahead of final approval of service changes.

Overview

  • Resolution N°118/SECT/25 was published in the Official Gazette, triggering a 15-day period for citizens to submit opinions, suggestions or objections to the proposed network changes
  • Under the plan, line 90 will cease as an independent route and its Recorrido B will be fully eliminated, ending trunk service for six neighborhoods
  • Segments of the former line 90 will form a new branch B linking Barrio 21-24 with the Vicente López transfer station (operating 4 am–11 pm) and a branch D shuttling between Plaza Constitución and Plaza Miserere
  • Existing branches A and C of line 151 will be adjusted in fleet deployment and stop patterns to integrate merged segments and optimize frequencies
  • Implementation dates and final route maps will be set after the city government reviews all public submissions at the close of the consultation
