Overview
- Preparatory night works are underway from April 28–30 on the Mitre Line's Tigre, Bartolomé Mitre, and José León Suárez branches.
- From May 1–4, the Tigre branch will be fully suspended, while the Bartolomé Mitre and José León Suárez branches will operate only up to Belgrano R station.
- Limited service on the Tigre branch between Retiro and Victoria will run from May 5 to June 1, with no trains reaching the Tigre terminal.
- Key upgrades include renewing 3 km of aging tracks, modernizing signaling systems, and installing fiber-optic infrastructure to improve safety and capacity.
- The project, executed under Argentina's Railway Emergency framework, aims to accelerate delivery with simultaneous work fronts, cutting execution time by two-thirds.
