Overview

  • Technical Resolution No. 158 requires all provincial ballots for the September 7 vote to be printed in color with photos of the first two candidates.
  • Each ballot must measure 12 cm by 19 cm and be printed on opaque 60-gram “tipo obra” paper with a white reverse.
  • Candidate photos and the party identification number must appear within the central third of the ballot alongside any emblems.
  • Ballot categories must follow a fixed hierarchy: governor and vice governor, provincial legislators, mayors, municipal councilors and school counselors.
  • Political associations must reserve exclusive colors by July 20 and submit finalized ballot models by August 7 for Junta Electoral approval.
