Overview
- Uruguay station on Line B will shut from Monday, September 15, for about three months as part of SBASE’s station renewal program.
- The overhaul includes waterproofing with injection and joint treatments, aluzinc wall and ceiling cladding, full floor replacement, LED lighting, refreshed signage with braille, new platform furniture, and restoration of four murals by professional conservators.
- Other remodels remain in progress at Carlos Gardel on Line B and at Plaza Italia and Agüero on Line D; authorities report 11 stations and 13 Premetro stops have already been renewed with more interventions tendered.
- From Saturday through Monday (September 13–15), Mitre line’s José León Suárez and Bartolomé Mitre branches are suspended for AUSA works to expand the Av. del Fomentista underpass between Pueyrredón and Miguelete; long‑distance services from Retiro to Rosario, Córdoba and Tucumán are also halted, while the Tigre branch operates normally.
