Buenos Aires City Joins Unified Monotributo, One Monthly Payment Starts Jan. 1

The program integrates national and city obligations on ARCA to simplify compliance for small taxpayers.

Overview

  • ARCA formalized the city’s adhesion via Joint General Resolution 5769/25, with implementation beginning January 1, 2026.
  • More than 200,000 taxpayers in Buenos Aires City will be incorporated automatically with no extra registration steps.
  • A single payment credential (Form F.1520) will include the Unique Registry Code (CUR) and all components will be viewable in the Monotributo and Self-Employed Current Account (CCMA).
  • Monthly due dates are unified on the 20th, and January 2026 will exceptionally collect November–December 2025 Ingresos Brutos plus the January unified amount in one charge.
  • Automatic debit arrangements shift to ARCA for those previously debited through AGIP, while existing national monotributo debits continue with the new combined amount.
