Buenos Aires Bus and Subte Fares Rise With September Indexation

Household costs also edge higher from new fuel taxes and a small electricity price rise.

  • Decree 617 lifts fuel taxes, adding roughly $9.83 per liter to nafta at the pump and raising gasoil levies, while the wholesale power price increases 0.5% to $13,554/MWh; prepaid health plans rise 1.4–1.9% and private‑school fees increase 3.2% in CABA and 2.8% in Buenos Aires province.
