  • arteBA opens to the public Aug. 29–31 at Costa Salguero with 67 galleries and works by more than 400 artists, following two preview days for invited guests.
  • In preview sales, institutions confirmed acquisitions including Marta Minujín to the Balanz collection, pieces by Guillermo Deisler and Candelaria Traverso to the St. Louis Art Museum, multiple works to Malba, and Oscar Bony to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
  • The fair’s Program of Acquisitions brings delegations from major museums such as Museo Reina Sofía, the Guggenheim in New York, the Museo de Arte de Lima and others to evaluate purchases for their collections.
  • arteBA expands access through transparent online gallery PDFs, the Primera Obra program with works up to USD 3,000 in three interest-free installments for Santander clients, and on-site advisory routes tailored to budget and taste.
  • Parallel events broaden the entry points for buyers: Affair runs Aug. 28–31 at Galerías Larreta with 30 galleries and a ‘Mi primer AFFAIR’ catalog under USD 600, while BADA at La Rural hosts 300 artists offering ten small originals per artist up to ARS 150,000 with financing options.
