• Rimpi Kaur cleared the NET in Computer Science, Beant Kaur in History and Hardeep Kaur in Punjabi on their first official attempt on July 22

• The sisters come from Budhlada in Mansa district, one of Punjab’s least literate regions, and financed their NET preparation through private-school teaching jobs
• Their father works as a granthi and their mother is a daily wager in the fields, and the siblings balanced teaching and studies to support their household
• All three are alumni of Guru Nanak College Budhlada and hold postgraduate degrees—a Master of Computer Application for Rimpi and MAs in History and Punjabi for Beant and Hardeep respectively
