Overview
- Union minister Kiren Rijiju led the Indian delegation that supervised the repatriation and acknowledged Bhutan’s leadership for the arrangements.
- An Indian Air Force C-130J transported the relics back to New Delhi, where they are again in the custody of the National Museum.
- The relics were displayed at Tashichho Dzong’s Grand Kuenrey Hall from November 8 to 25 following a one-week extension requested by Bhutan.
