  • A multi-agency response including Provo Fire Department, Utah County Fire, Springville crews and a U.S. Forest Service Type 3 team is deploying helicopters and air tankers using Bartholomew Pond as a dip site.
  • Officials have not issued evacuation orders and say there is no immediate danger to structures or reported injuries.
  • Winds of 15–20 mph, steep rugged terrain and dry vegetation are complicating containment and heightening the risk of rapid fire spread.
