Overview
- The Royal Collection Trust confirmed the title ‘Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style’ for its spring–autumn 2026 run at the King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
- Visitors will see over 200 garments and accessories, including the 1947 Norman Hartnell wedding dress and the 1953 coronation gown.
- Nearly half of the collection comprises pieces never before exhibited, spanning childhood ensembles to state-visit attire.
- Design sketches, fabric samples and personal correspondence will illustrate the monarch’s strategic use of fashion as an instrument of soft power.
- Tickets go on sale in November 2025, and a companion book by curator Caroline de Guitaut will deepen the narrative of the Queen’s fashion legacy.
