Buck Showalter Returns to MLB Network as Analyst

Following his departure from the New York Mets, Buck Showalter is set to rejoin MLB Network as an on-air analyst starting in April.

Former Mets manager Buck Showalter will return to MLB Network as an analyst, having previously worked there in 2020 and 2021.
Showalter's return to broadcasting follows a tenure with the Mets that included a 101-61 record in his first year and Manager of the Year honors, but ended with a 75-87 season in 2023.
The 67-year-old has a rich history in baseball, managing teams such as the Yankees, Diamondbacks, Rangers, and Orioles, and boasts a career record of 1,727-1,665.
Despite being a finalist for the Los Angeles Angels' managerial position, Showalter will instead bring his expertise back to television.
MLB Network praises Showalter's on-field expertise and baseball knowledge, expecting his return to strengthen their content this season.
