Buccaneers Interview Antwaan Randle El and Alex Van Pelt for Offensive Coordinator Position

The search continues as the team looks to fill the vacancy left by Dave Canales, with several other potential candidates also in the mix.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interviewing candidates for their vacant offensive coordinator position, including Detroit Lions wide receivers coach Antwaan Randle El and former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Randle El, a nine-year NFL veteran, started his coaching career in Tampa Bay and recently led the Lions to notable receiving stats, including the fourth-best number in the NFL for receiving yards.
Van Pelt, who was the Bucs' quarterback coach in 2010 and 2011, was recently fired from the Browns after a relatively successful season.
Baker Mayfield, who is set to become a free agent, had a career-high 95.9 passer rating while working with Van Pelt in Cleveland.
The Bucs are also linked to other potential candidates, including Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson, Los Angeles pass game specialist Jake Peetz and former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson.
