Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback, is expected to play in Monday night’s NFC Wild Card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles despite being listed as questionable due to ribs and ankle injuries.
Mayfield sustained the rib injury in a Week 17 loss to the New Orleans Saints and the ankle injury in the Week 18 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Mayfield, whose contract expires in March, has thrown for 4,044 yards with 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions for a 94.6 passer rating this season.
If Mayfield is unable to play, the Bucs would have to turn to Kyle Trask for the quarterback position.
The Buccaneers have won five of their last six games, with Mayfield playing a key role in their success.
