Overview

  • The ranking, released on August 9 by the Korean Business Research Institute, used big data analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, fan interaction and community indexes from July 9 to August 9.
  • BTS secured first place for August with a brand reputation index of 8,864,057 and a 93.51% positive reaction rate in sentiment analysis.
  • SEVENTEEN maintained second place with an index of 5,494,252, reflecting their sustained media presence and fan engagement.
  • SHINee jumped to third with a 46.88% month-over-month increase to reach an index of 3,753,576, marking one of the biggest surges among leading groups.
  • BIGBANG and Super Junior rounded out the top five, with indices of 2,927,292 and 2,801,649 respectively, the latter showing a 27.62% rise since July.
