- The agency confirmed via press release on Jan. 1 that BTS will release a new album on March 20, 2026, a date also posted on its Korean-language X account.
- BigHit Music announced a large-scale world tour will follow the album, with schedules, venues and ticketing information to be revealed later.
- The comeback date was first hinted at in handwritten New Year postcards sent to longtime Weverse members, with the same messages set to be posted on Weverse this month.

- The release will be BTS’s first full-group project since the June 2022 anthology Proof, following completion of military service by all members in 2025.
