BTS Members RM and V Graduate as 'Elite Trainees' from Military Training
The K-pop stars excelled in their basic combat and defense skills training, with V set to join an elite counter-terrorism unit after additional training.
- BTS members RM and V have graduated from their basic military training in South Korea as 'elite trainees', an honor given to only six out of 200 trainees.
- RM and V's training included basic combat and defense skills at the Korea Army Training Centre in Nonsan, south of Seoul.
- RM is set to be stationed at his new unit this week, while V will undergo three more weeks of training to join the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Korean Army’s Capital Defense Command.
- V has been praised for his leadership skills and performance during the training, ranking first in sit-ups and shooting.
- All seven members of BTS are currently serving South Korea’s mandatory military service and are expected to complete their service and reunite by 2025.
