BTS Members Jungkook and Jimin Graduate from Basic Military Training

Jimin Awarded Honor of Exemplary, Both to be Deployed to Different Units within 5th Infantry Division

BTS members Jungkook and Jimin have graduated from their five-week basic military training and will be deployed to the 5th Infantry Division to continue their mandatory military service.
Despite being part of the same division, Jungkook and Jimin will not be direct successors to fellow BTS member Jin and will be assigned to different units within the division.
During their military graduation ceremony, Jimin was awarded the Honor of Exemplary and was crowned the 'best trainee' in his unit, earning him an earlier promotion and a four-nights vacation at his home base.
Jungkook and Jimin, who enlisted together, are currently designated as Private in the military and will work up the ranks throughout their service tenure.
Jimin has been praised for his kindness in the military, often sacrificing his cell phone time so that other soldiers could talk to their loved ones.
