Overview

• The attack occurred at about 10:15pm on July 10, when a man in his 50s was punched, knocked to the floor, and had his glasses broken.
• British Transport Police say the incident happened near the escalators between platforms two and five at London Bridge.
• Members of the public intervened before the assailant left the station, and officers arrived to find the suspect gone.
• Images show a white, middle‑aged man with glasses and a thick white beard wearing a yellow baseball cap, blue checked shirt over a grey T‑shirt, green cargo shorts, and white Adidas trainers.
