Overview

• The municipality received the program’s highest distinction at the VIII Gala held in Alberic on October 3, with participation from more than 50 municipalities.

• Judges highlighted biological pest control, reuse of plant residues as mulch, and the use of eco-labeled organic fertilizers.
• Viles en Flors, run by ASFPLANT, recognizes urban green-space stewardship, sustainable management, environmental education, and citizen awareness.
• Bétera joined the network in February 2023, earned three Flores de Honor in 2023 and 2024 and a Special Flower for Tourism in 2024, and leaders pledged to build on the current model.
