- BSNL officially unveiled its Q-5G Fixed Wireless Access service in Hyderabad on June 18, branding it Quantum 5G
- The SIM-free, data-only solution delivers internet through rooftop Customer Premises Equipment without voice calling
- Subscribers can choose a ₹999 plan for up to 100 Mbps or opt for a ₹1,499 option offering speeds up to 300 Mbps
- Built on India-developed 5G technology, Q-5G FWA follows extensive network tests conducted in several Indian cities
- Rollout is slated to expand to tier-2 and tier-3 markets including Bengaluru, Pune, Pondicherry, Visakhapatnam, Gwalior and Chandigarh by September 2025
