- About a dozen Indian-breed dogs are being prepared for helicopter slithering insertions and river-rafting missions, with canines harnessed to handlers for high-risk tasks.
- The National Training Centre for Dogs in Tekanpur has trained nearly 150 Rampur and Mudhol hounds since 2021, with more than 20 currently in training.
