  • All major segments on the exchanges are shut for the day, including equities, equity derivatives, SLB, currency, EGR, and multiple debt and repo platforms, per the official holiday calendars.
  • Commodity trading pauses in the morning, with MCX reopening for the evening session from 5:00 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm, while NCDEX remains closed for the entire day.
  • Banks are closed in cities such as Mumbai, Belapur, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Panaji and Vijayawada, though digital channels and ATMs continue to operate.
