Overview
- BSA announced the two new Gold Star 650 editions on Thursday, October 15, 2026, called Brooklands Black Legacy and Birmingham Blue, and both are available now through BSA dealerships in India.
- The Birmingham Blue edition is priced at about ₹3.55–3.56 lakh and the Brooklands Black Legacy edition at about ₹3.64–3.65 lakh, all figures quoted ex-showroom for New Delhi/Delhi.
- Neither edition changes the mechanics so both use the existing 652cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes roughly 45 hp and 55 Nm and pairs with a five-speed gearbox.
- Styling and badging reference BSA heritage, with the Brooklands Black Legacy recalling Wal Handley’s 1937 Brooklands link and the Birmingham Blue evoking the brand’s Birmingham origins through colour, trim and a quilted seat on the top trim.
- The models keep the Gold Star’s equipment list, including Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS and wire-spoke wheels, and they are offered with BSA’s Ownership Assurance Programme that includes a standard four-year/50,000 km warranty plus optional extended warranty and roadside assistance.
