Bryan Little to Retire as Winnipeg Jet with One-Day Contract

The veteran centre will celebrate his career on October 20, marking the end of his 13-year NHL journey.

  • Bryan Little, drafted 12th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006, will sign a one-day contract to retire with the Winnipeg Jets.
  • Little played 843 games with the Thrashers/Jets franchise, scoring 217 goals and 521 points, making him the second-most capped player in the team's history.
  • His last game was on November 5, 2019, after suffering a perforated eardrum from a slapshot, followed by a concussion earlier that season.
  • Little's contract was traded to the Arizona Coyotes in 2022 and later transferred to a new club in Salt Lake City, Utah.
  • The Jets will honor Little's career during their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 20.
