Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron retires after 19 seasons

Bergeron played his entire 19-year career with the Boston Bruins.
He was a key part of the 2011 Stanley Cup winning team and won many individual honors including six Selke Trophies.
Bergeron cited wanting to spend more time with family as a factor in his retirement decision.
He finished his career with 1,040 points, ranking third in Bruins franchise history.
The Bruins will look to fill the leadership void left by Bergeron's departure.
