• T. Harish Rao said Andhra Pradesh plans to divert 200 TMC of Godavari water in the first phase and expand to 400 TMC without statutory approvals from the GRMB, CWC and Apex Council.
• The Rs80,000-crore project includes a 150 TMC Bollapalli offline reservoir and tunnels and canals designed to carry water to Krishna basin areas in Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra.
