Expected to Fully Recover Before 2024 Season, Browns Sign Veteran QB Joe Flacco in His Absence

Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, underwent successful surgery on his throwing shoulder, following a displaced fracture.
Watson is expected to begin his rehabilitation process on Friday and is projected to be fully recovered before the start of the 2024 season.
In Watson's absence, the Browns will continue their playoff push with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who recently scored his first career win.
The Browns have also signed veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to their practice squad.
Despite the injury, Watson managed to stay in the game against the Ravens, leading the Browns to a 33-31 victory.
