Browns' Playoff Push Hampered by Key Defensive Injuries

Safety Grant Delpit and defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo sidelined, further straining an already injury-riddled team.

Browns safety Grant Delpit, who recently signed a three-year, $36 million contract extension, has been placed on injured reserve due to a groin injury, ending his regular season.
Defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo is also out with a pectoral injury, which may sideline him for several weeks or longer.
The Browns, currently in the No. 5 playoff spot in the AFC, have been hit hard by injuries this season, including losses of starting tackles Jedrick Wills Jr. and Dawand Jones.
Despite the injuries, the Browns have managed to maintain a record of 8-5, with the possibility of Delpit returning if they qualify for the postseason.
In response to Delpit's injury, the Browns have signed safety Duron Harmon from the practice squad to the active roster.
