• Channel 4’s Liverpool-set soap comes back for a single special at 7pm on Wednesday, October 22, airing on E4.
• Sue Johnston, Ricky Tomlinson, Philip Olivier, Paul Usher, Suzanne Collins, Michael Starke and John McArdle reprise their roles for the return.
• Newcomer Yasmin Davies debuts as Esme Dixon, the daughter of Jacqui Dixon, a role originated by her real-life mother Alex Fletcher.
