Brooklyn Woman Detained After Dismembered Body Found in Freezer

Victim Identified as Missing Drug Dealer; Woman's Incarcerated Husband Implicated in Murder

Heather Stines, a 45-year-old woman from Brooklyn, has been taken into custody following the discovery of a man's severed head and other body parts in a freezer at her apartment.
The victim has been identified as Kawsheen Gelzer, a local drug dealer who went missing last year.
Stines, who has a history of drug abuse and petty crime, has not been formally charged and is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
Stines' husband, Nicholas McGee, is currently incarcerated in Virginia and has been implicated by Stines in the murder, allegedly over a drug dispute.
The investigation is ongoing, with the cause of death yet to be determined by the city's Medical Examiner.
