Brooklyn Woman Charged with Concealing Dismembered Body in Refrigerator

Victim Identified as Missing Local Drug Dealer; Woman Claims Husband Responsible for Death

Heather Stines, a 45-year-old woman from Brooklyn, has been charged with concealing a human corpse after police found a dismembered body in her refrigerator.
The body was identified as Kawsheen Gelzer, a 39-year-old registered sex offender and local drug dealer who had been missing since last year.
Stines allegedly told police that the body parts had been in the refrigerator for several months and belonged to a man her husband had killed during a dispute in September.
Stines' husband, Nicholas McGee, is currently incarcerated in Virginia on an unrelated identity fraud case.
Stines was evaluated at a hospital after being taken into custody and had open warrants related to shoplifting and bail-jumping charges.
