Brooklyn Mother Fatally Stabbed, Son in Critical Condition

Police are investigating a possible link between the stabbing and a dog thrown from an 11th-story window; no arrests have been made.

Donna Hyman, 58, was fatally stabbed in her Brooklyn apartment during an apparent dispute with her son.
The son, 36, was also injured and is in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital.
Both victims had multiple stab wounds in their torsos.
Police are investigating whether a dog thrown from an 11th-story window is related to the stabbing.
