Bronx Man Fatally Stabbed at Coney Island Subway Station

The 54-year-old victim was attacked late Tuesday night, marking the ninth murder in NYC's transit system this year.

The stabbing occurred at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station at around 11:30 p.m.
Police are searching for a bald-headed suspect in his 30s, last seen wearing a green shirt and aqua shorts.
The victim was found unconscious on an N train and was pronounced dead at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.
No arrests have been made, and the motive for the attack remains unknown.
Despite this incident, overall crime in the city's transit system is down 6.1% from 2023, according to NYPD statistics.
