Overview
- Devonte Moore, 24, was arrested Wednesday night and faces murder, manslaughter and weapons charges in the Oct. 7 shooting of Fareed Adeyi, 26.
- Norman Moore, 64, was arrested Friday on the same counts, pleaded not guilty at a Saturday arraignment and is being held without bail.
- Prosecutors say Norman Moore drove his son to the Laundrybee 24/7 rear lot at 3254 White Plains Road and then left the area with him after the gunfire.
- Adeyi was shot multiple times in the chest while seated in a blue Volkswagen around 6:40 p.m. and was later pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.
